Body Massage: Aroma-therapeutic – 10 units (30 hours contact teaching. 30 hours self-directed study. Total teaching and learning hours: 60)
Contact teaching: Lecture, discussion, experiential activities, question and answer, group work
Self Study: Homework tasks (Workbook – read, complete questions and answers); complete set research/revision topic.
Formative tests: Workbook questions and answers; formative question and answer papers; short essay’s and assignments (research, compound and revise knowledge)
Summative tests: Examination paper – massage (will include muscle and skeletal anatomy). Practical examination – full body massage. Essay/Research Assignment – 1,200 to 1,500 (+/- 10%) words. 6 Case studies.
If you are completing this course as part of the Aromatherapy qualification, you may be exempt from this unit if you provide appropriate evidence of previous relevant study. You can elect to attend individual workshops for revision or CPD but must still register (contact Heather at heather@aromantique.co.uk to arrange this.
Completion of this unit as a ‘stand alone’ training course.
Professional Qualification: 10 sessions plus Self Study, Case Studies and Summative assessments. Cost £450 plus examination fee
